Zane is very submissive in relationships, which makes things dangerous, as people love to take advantage of it. He likes pain, but doesn't have the personality who says 'stop' when the fun does. He's been close to death numerous times, and only be the help of good Samaritans was he taken to hospitals.

The type of person who takes insults too harshly and sometimes wears his heart on his sleeve. He can be pretty mean when he's trying to defend himself and always over-thinks things to the point it almost destroys him. He pretends to be egotistical but anyone close can easily see past that.

despite everything, zane is a loving person. he trusts people too easily and gets hurt nearly all of the time. but despite the fact that he has some severe personality issues, he's still a hopeless romantic.

he's contradictory. he wants a lover, a prince charming, that one special person, but every time he meets someone he really likes, he always thinks he'll somehow manage to screw up the relationship.

doesn't everyone want the world to disappear sometimes? he doesn't drink regularly or do drugs, but whenever his sometimes-lovers want to do bad things, he'll do it with them. it's more of a social thing than a habit.

he takes the fall a lot, spending nights in jail or the hospital, broken and bleeding trying to protect people who really don't care for him. he always tells himself that they really don't love him, but he just can't seem to believe it, even when it's true.

last of all, zane is hopeful. he loves life. he always believes that no matter how dark the path ahead of you is, there will always be someone to be your light. he's not religious, but he does believe in the butterfly effect and karma. most people think he'd be suicidal but you've probably never met anyone so completely opposite.
